Danmaku Flow for YouTube

Danmaku Flow for YouTube is a browser extension that displays YouTube live-chat messages as customizable flowing comments over YouTube videos.
While you use the extension on a YouTube live stream or Premiere, it reads the chat content already displayed in that YouTube page. This can include chat messages, display names, user roles, avatar image URLs, message formatting, and information shown with Super Chats, Super Stickers, or membership messages. The extension uses this information only to render the selected messages on the current YouTube page.
The extension also stores your extension preferences, such as display style, language, visibility, and chat-layout settings, in chrome.storage.local in your browser.
All chat processing and rendering take place locally in your browser. Danmaku Flow for YouTube does not operate a server for collecting chat data or settings, does not transmit this information to the developer or other third parties, and does not sell, rent, or use it for advertising or profiling.
The extension does not require account sign-in and does not intentionally collect your name, email address, passwords, payment information, browsing history, precise location, or personal communications outside the YouTube chat content visible on the page where it runs.
The options and popup pages load interface fonts and icons from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Those providers may receive standard connection information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser request data, under their own privacy policies. A voluntary support button may open PayPal only when you choose to use it; any transaction is handled directly by PayPal.
Chat information is used only while it is needed to display the overlay and is not retained by the extension. You can remove saved preferences by using the extension’s reset-settings option or by removing the extension in Chrome. Removing the extension deletes its locally stored extension data, subject to Chrome’s behavior and settings.
The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy when the extension’s data practices change. The updated version will be published at this page with a revised date.
